Make It Real.

Where has the time gone? Since Kindergarten, when we all first met? And since our Fifth grade graduation & start of middle school, when we were so excited to be getting older? And since eighth grade, when we were finally figuring out who we were, & the rush of starting high school?  What happened to behbehs playing in the rain, kids riding bikes, & preteens dancing around to blasting music? We’re more than half way done with high school, but it seems like just yesterday it was all so new to us. Time goes by too quickly..

Once upon a time there was a Princess. She was very sad and lonely until one day an Angel flew down beside her and asked if he could hold her hand and protect her. From then on the Princess and the Angel were best friends. The Angel saw through all the ill-intentioned princes that were after the Princess’s heart and kept them away from her. After years of searching for a prince fit for the Princess, the Angel sensed something different about a young merchant they passed in town. The Angel told the Princess that he knew he wasn’t a prince, but asked her to at least go talk to him for a few minutes, because his soul was as light as the shining stars. The Princess trusted in her failthful Angel’s judgement, and so she introduced herself to the young merchant. Within a few minutes the two were talking and laughing like old friends. The Princess went back to visit every day thereafter, and very soon her and the merchant fell in love. In a few months they were married under the Angel’s blessing and lived happily ever after. Today I’ve learned that I cannot let my fears keep my from anything that I want to do. If I want something that bad, I just need to commit myself to overcoming whatever is in my way & dive headfirst. If I can get myself into a confident frame of mind I can do anything. This is my new goal (:
